TOP WOMEN'S GAME

#13 Delta State (16-1, 5-1) at Ouachita Baptist (14-3, 3-3)--Thursday 6 p.m. CST

The Lady Statesmen make the long trip to Arkadelphia, Ark. to face the Tigers in a key Gulf South Conference West Division clash. After losing their first GSC West matches, the OBU women have won three of their last four league games. Still, the home team faces a tough task in battling a DSU squad that has won five straight contests. If that wasn't enough, the Tigers also find themselves being in the shadow of their cross-street rivals, the Lady Reddies of Henderson State University. Speaking of which, the HSU women will host the Lady Statesmen in a re-match of their GSC West opener on Monday. Henderson State won the first game, 63-54, in Cleveland, Miss. on Jan. 5. But the Lady Statesmen must make a return trip home along the way, facing Arkansas Tech on Saturday.

TOP MEN'S GAME

Christian Brothers (9-7, 3-3) at Arkansas-Monticello (10-7, 3-3)--Thursday 7:30 p.m. CST

The Boll Weevils host the Buccaneers in a game that will have tremendous implications on the Gulf South Conference tournament, as only the top five teams each in both the East and West Divisions, respectively, will advance to the GSC tournament in Tupelo, Miss. The winner of this game could move into a tie for third place in the GSC West with idle Henderson State (8-7,4-3) or maybe to within a half-game of Central Arkansas (12-6, 5-2) for second place, should the Bears lose at Southern Arkansas.
