TOP WOMEN'S GAMES

Alabama-Huntsville (7-7, 2-1) at #22 Valdosta State (11-4, 2-1)--Monday 6 p.m. EST

West Georgia (9-7, 2-1) at West Alabama (7-8, 2-1)--Monday 5:30 p.m. CST

The Lady Tigers host the Braves in a battle of two teams locked in a four-way logjam for second place in the Gulf South Conference East Division, at 2-1 in conference play. But wait! There's more! The nationally 22nd ranked Lady Blazers host the Lady Chargers in another game that could either break the tie, or create more chaos in the GSC East.

TOP MEN'S GAMES

Lincoln Memorial (5-10, 3-0) at #1 Montevallo (15-1, 3-0)--Monday 7:30 p.m. CST

#13 Alabama-Huntsville (13-2, 3-1) at Valdosta State (10-5, 2-2)--Monday 8 p.m. EST

A lot of people look at the overall record for the Railsplitters and think, "this team should be 0-3 in conference play right now, instead of 3-0." Nor should such a team be tied for first place heading into a huge game against the nation's top-ranked teams in the Falcons. But that's exactly the situation the LMU men find themselves in after knocking off Valdosta State, West Florida, and West Alabama in succession to open GSC action. On the other hand, one of the teams the Railsplitters defeated en route to the unlikely fast start, VSU, finds itself in a tough challenge against a ranked opponent in UAH, even after holding off perennial arch-rival North Alabama 79-74 Saturday night. That win snapped a three-game skid for the Blazers, which included a loss to NCAA Division I UAB.
