SOUTH REGION--WOMEN--at Conway, Ark.

Central Arkansas (24-6) vs. Rollins (21-9)

The Sugar Bears take on the Tars in the 1-8 match-up. This contest features two teams that won their way to the NCAA tournament by way of winning the automatic bid: UCA won the Gulf South Conference tournament, while Rollins overcame being the fifth seed to win the Sunshine State Conference tournament for the second year in a row.

Tuskegee (19-10) vs. Fort Valley State (21-9)

The Tigerettes face the Wildcats in a battle of SIAC teams. Tuskegee edged out FVSU to win the regular season title, but only one of these squads will advance to round two.

Henderson State (23-9) vs. Paine (18-11)

The Reddies battle the Lions in the 3-6 game Friday. HSU hopes to return to the Elite Eight after making a Cinderella run last season, but won't be sneaking up on anyone this season. On the other hand, Paine enters the NCAA tournament after winning the SIAC tournament.

Florida Tech (21-9) vs. Valdosta State (23-6)

The 2-7 contest features two teams that earned at-large bids after losing in the finals of their respective conference tournaments: Florida Tech in the SSC, VSU in the GSC. The Lady Blazers will make their first appearance in the NCAA tournament since 1997.
