LYNN ENDS MONTEVALLO BASKETBALL SEASON

MONTEVALLO (3/15) -- James Taylor scored 15 points, while Austin Faber and James Cage added 12 and 10 points, respectively, to lead No. 12 Lynn University to a 67-51 victory over No. 18 University of Montevallo in the championship game of the NCAA Division II South Regional at the People's Bank and Trust Arena Tuesday night. James Hall, who was later named to the South Regional All-Tournament team, led UM with 19 points and nine rebounds. Caleb Kennedy and D.J. Towns, in their final games as UM Falcons, collected 12 points each.UM concludes the 2004-05 season as champions of the Gulf South Conference and NCAA South Regional finalist, and finishes with a 26-7 record overall.
