COLUMBUS STATE DETHRONES KENNESAW STATE!!!!!

It's all over for the Kennesaw State University men's basketball team, as the defending NCAA Division II national champions saw their quest for a repeat halted all too abruptly in a 83-78 overtime loss to Columbus State in the first round of the South Atlantic regional at Bowie, Md. Saturday.

The Cougars (23-8) will face top seeded Bowie State in a regional semifinal game Sunday. The Bulldogs also needed overtime to hold off eighth seeded Tusculum 91-88.
