The Lady Reddies and Lady Statesmen will meet for the third time this season, only this time the automatic bid to the NCAA Division II tournament will be at stake. However, both squads needed overtime to get to the GSC title game, as HSU got by West Georgia 73-70, while DSU downed West Georgia 63-54. The Lady Statesmen hope the third time will be the charm against the Lady Reddies, as DSU lost both regular season meetings to HSU.

#1 Delta State (28-1) vs. #4 Montevallo (26-3)--Gulf South Conference Tournament Championship Game at Tupelo, Miss.--2:30 p.m. CST
It's the Statesmen against the Falcons in a re-match of last year's title game. The nationally top-ranked Statesmen were pushed to the limit by #21 Alabama-Huntsville before pulling out a 74-72 win in Saturday's first semifinal game, while UM downed Arkansas-Monticello in the other semifinal contest. The Falcons hope to win their third straight GSC tournament title, a feat that's not so bad for a program that entered the NCAA Division II ranks more than a decade ago, while the Statesmen hope to gain some momentum heading into the NCAA tournament.
