D-II South Nation's hopes for bringing home an NCAA Division II national championship in basketball fell by the wayside Wednesday, as both the Montevallo men and Henderson State women were eliminated in the opening round of their respective Elite Eight brackets. The Falcons fell to Seattle Pacific 79-65 in Springfield, Mass. while Henderson State blew a big lead against Cal State Chico, and lost 67-66 at Hot Springs, Ark.
