MUST SEE GAMES--02/14/2005

Even on the most romantic day of the year, there's no love lost with the following critical games being profiled here.

TOP WOMEN'S GAMES:

USC Upstate (11-11, 4-7) at Georgia College & State University (14-8, 5-6)--Monday 5:30 p.m. EST

West Florida (16-7, 8-2) at West Georgia (13-9, 5-5)--Monday 5:30 p.m. EST

This may not be a "top" game in the truest sense, but this is a must win game for both USCS and GC&SU. The Spartans have lost four games in a row, while the Lady Bobcats have lost back-to-back games against current Peach Belt Conference leaders Clayton State and Columbus State, respectively, both of whom sit at 9-3 in league action. On the other hand, UWF will try for its fifth straight win, while the Braves are coming off a 57-51 upset win over 22nd ranked Valdosta State on Saturday night. VSU's loss, combined with its win at Lincoln Memorial, allowed the Argonauts to pull into a first place tie with the Lady Blazers in the Gulf South Conference East Division. However, thanks to its earlier win over VSU, UWF currently holds the tiebreaker advantage for the top spot in the GSC East.
