The Columbus State University softball team will represent the South Atlantic Region at the NCAA Division II championships at Akron, Ohio this Thursday, as they defeated Armstrong Atlantic State 8-4 Monday.
The same thing couldn't be said for the Valdosta State University squad, however, as the Lady Blazers lost to Florida Gulf Coast 4-3 in nine innings Saturday. FGCU lost to Florida Southern 3-0 in the title game Sunday.
