While Columbus State is headed to its third NCAA Division II World Series in the last six years, Montevallo was denied in its quest to return to Montgomery, Ala. The Falcons must play at least one more game after being routed by Angelo State (Tex.) 8-1 in the championship round of the South Central Regional at Arkadelphia, Ark. Sunday. The second and final game of the championship round is set for Noon CDT Monday, with the winner advancing to the national tournament.
