MUST SEE GAMES--THE GAMES OF THE MLK WEEKEND

Click on the highlighted link (s) below to listen to live audio, or to view live stats. Oh, by the way, there is now live video for some of the teams, now!

TOP WOMEN'S GAMES

USC Aiken (10-4, 2-1) at Columbus State (11-3, 3-0)--Saturday 5:30 p.m. EST

It's the Lady Cougars hosting the Lady Pacers in a battle of division leaders in the Peach Belt Conference, well, sort of! While the CSU women have won eight straight games going into this contest, USCA will try to bounce back after being knocked off by UNC Pembroke, 66-54 on Wednesday. The loss to the Braves dropped the Lady Pacers into a three-way tie for first place in the North Division with UNCP and USC Upstate, all of whom are 2-1 in PBC action. On the other hand, the Lady Cougars are tied with nationally-ranked Clayton State at 3-0 to lead the South Division, in spite of having the longest current win streak among PBC women's squads.

Southern Arkansas (5-8, 2-0) at Arkansas Tech (9-5, 2-0)--Saturday 6 p.m. CST

Well, how about a game like this to put in the "Who would've thunk it?" category, as the Golden Suns play host to the Muleriders in an unlikely battle for a share of first place in the Gulf South Conference West Division. While both teams can claim wins over former nationally top-ranked Henderson State, with SAU claiming a 64-60 upset win over the suddenly vulnerable Lady Reddies Thursday night, only one of them can go to 3-0 in the GSC West once all is said and done.

#17 Christian Brothers (13-2, 2-0) at Henderson State (11-4, 2-0)--Saturday 4 p.m. CST

Most years, the road to the Gulf South Conference West Division title either goes through Cleveland, Miss., or Arkadelphia, Ark. The nationally-ranked Buccaneers hope that road goes through Beale Street, as they pay visit to Reddie country in this key early-season showdown.

USC Upstate (10-4, 2-1) at Augusta State (11-3, 3-0)--Saturday 4 p.m. EST

The Spartans cross the Savannah River into Georgia to face the surprising Jaguars in this juicy Peach Belt Conference tilt. Augusta stayed unbeaten in PBC play by keeping Georgia College & State University winless in conference action thanks to an 83-70 road win on Wednesday.
