TOP WOMEN'S GAME
West Georgia (16-7, 9-1) at West Florida (18-4, 9-1)--Monday 5:30 p.m. CST
The Braves won their ninth straight game Saturday night, as they downed Valdosta State on the road 58-53. Head Coach Craig Roden and his charges hope to extend their winning streak to ten games in a row against a Lady Argonauts squad that picked up a hard-fought win over visiting Lincoln Memorial 60-53 on Saturday. With the wins in those respective games, both teams clinched a berth in the Gulf South Conference tournament. The winner of this contest not only will take over sole possession of first place in the GSC East, but also will have the inside track on earning that divison's top seed for the conference tournament as well. UWF won the GSC East season opener over the Braves 65-53 in Carrollton, Ga. Jan. 7.

With Delta State already having clinched the West Division's first spot in the Gulf South Conference tournament, the Buccaneers play host to the Reddies in a game that has postseason implications for both teams. CBU picked a critical road win at Arkansas Tech 78-75 in overtime Thursday night, while HSU fell to Central Arkansas 57-45, also on Thursday.
