The newly-crowned Gulf South Conference East Division champion Valdosta State University Lady Blazers continued their towards the GSC tournament with an easy 72-49 rout at Montevallo Monday night.

On the same night, the UM Falcons won their 12th straight game by downing the VSU Blazers 89-77 in the men's game. The victory gives Montevallo the GSC East title for 2007.
