The Pirates do battle against the Cougars in a showdown for sole possession of third place in the Peach Belt Conference South Division. CSU moved into a tie for that position after winning a 104-103 double overtime at home over GC&SU Wednesday night. On that same night, the Pirates rallied from a 19-point halftime deficit to defeat Georgia Southwestern State 59-56.
