The defending Peach Belt Conference tournament champions will begin their quest for a second straight tourney title, and third in four years Wednesday night. But, first things first, as the Lady Bobcats must go to Savannah to face the Lady Pirates in the first of 16 regular-season PBC contests. GC&SU will look for a little payback against the AASU women, as the Lady Pirates swept the season series from the Lady Bobcats a year ago.

Columbus State (7-3) at Kennesaw State (10-1)
The defending NCAA Division II national champions will begin their quest for repeat Peach Belt Conference regular-season and tournament titles against an old nemesis in the Cougars. The Fighting Owls are on a roll heading into conference action, as they have won 36 of their last 37 contests dating back to January 2004.
