The tests just keep on coming for the Lakers, who will do battle against a Cougars team that's coming off an 83-71 win over USC Aiken. As for Clayton State, after holding off Armstrong Atlantic State in a 69-64 in an overtime thriller last Wednesday (01/10), the Lakers got by PBC North Division leader Lander 70-63 last Saturday.

The Pirates play host to the Jaguars in the other big match-up in the PBC South Division this mid-week. Depending upon the outcome of the Clayton State-Columbus State game listed above, there could be a four-way tie for the division lead by the end of the night.
