The field for the 2006 Peach Belt Conference baseball tournament next week is set, as USC Upstate split a doubleheader with #6 Francis Marion at Florence, S.C. Thursday. The Spartans won the opener 7-4 to clinch the sixth and final berth, only to have the Patriots bounce back, and win the nightcap 6-2. With the win, Upstate finished the regular season at 32-22 overall and 13-14 in PBC games.
