The Gulf South Conference baseball tournament got underway at the USA Baseball Stadium in Millington, Tenn. Saturday morning. In the day's first game, East Division third seed North Alabama knocked off West Division second seed Ouachita Baptist 8-4.

In Peach Belt Conference play, the final day of the regular season has come down to just a mere handful of games, as Armstrong Atlantic State clinched a berth in the PBC tournament with a 4-3 win over USC Aiken Friday night. Also on Friday, Lander held on to its hopes of advancing to postseason play with a 22-11 rout of North Georgia. The Bearcats must sweep the Saints, and hope for an AASU sweep of USCA to advance to next week's PBC tournament at Aiken, S.C.
