TOP WOMEN'S GAME
Columbus State (9-5, 2-2) at North Georgia (9-3, 5-0)--Wednesday 5:30 p.m. EST
The Lady Saints play host to the Lady Cougars in a critical Peach Belt Conference match-up in Dahlonega, Ga. With Clayton State and North Georgia both tied currently for first place in the PBC at 5-0, and every other team having at least two conference losses, this game is crucial for the CSU women if they hope to get the second seed for the PBC tournament in March (Remember, North Georgia is ineligible for the conference tournament, since the school itself is in its first season as an NCAA Division II member). The Lady Cougars currently trail UNC Pembroke (8-4, 3-2) by half-a-game for third place overall in the PBC regular season standings.
TOP MEN'S GAME
Georgia College & State University (8-3, 5-0) at USC Upstate (8-2, 3-1)--Wednesday 7:30 p.m. EST
The Bobcats will put their six-game winning streak on the line against the Spartans, who handed North Georgia its first-ever Peach Belt Conference loss Saturday, with the Saints picking an 89-72 win on the road. As for the GC&SU men, they had to hold on for a road win of their own last weekend, as they downed Francis Marion, 71-66.
