In with a bang, out with a whimper. That's how both the Augusta State University Jaguars and the Valdosta State University Blazers entered and exited the NCAA Division II men's basketball Elite Eight at Springfield, Mass. Wednesday. The Blazers squandered a 12-point halftime lead by giving 21 unanswered points to start the second half in a 80-64 loss to Indiana (Pa.), while the Jaguars were upset by Bentley (Mass.) on a three-point shot in the closing seconds.
