Valdosta State men win at buzzer

The Valdosta State University men's basketball team finished an 11-game homestand with a bang--and a buzzer beater--as the Blazers downed the University of Tampa, 80-79 Tuesday night.

Good for Ryan Nelson; for a guy averaging 5.5 points per game on 35% shooting, he's the last person I'd expect to nail a buzzer beating three with four hands in his face. I'd bet that kid is on top of the world right now.

I also noticed you have a link to the College Fanz Sports Network. Do you post over there? I do; it's a great site with pages for every single sport at every single college. Pretty impressive stuff.

Have you considered blogging over there? Our blogs are free and simple and can target a wide audience; College Fanz could use some D-II coverage, as the site's users yearn for all information, all the time.

Take a look at the site and let me know if you'd be interested at mgleeson@collegefanz.com. I think you could get a dedicated fanbase, as you'd be filling a solid and necessary spot for D-II information.
